I really liked this film. I think it was much better than DreamWorks' two previous films (Croods, Turbo) and I hope there's a pre-order soon. I think the BD will be released around June or July.

As far as I remember the postings in the MPaS-Thread people could not understand the qualities of the movie at all. But yeah, Day 1 for me as well.

well it does have this smugness that some adults would find grating, kids think most stuff put in front of them though is amusing.

It didnt appeal to me at all I'm afraid

I admit I'm hardly familliar with Peabody but the fact it was based on something that "tries to make learning fun" should have set alarm bells ringing, and it seemed to pose questions that didnt even make sense in its own universe

I didn't care for it much either. My kids enjoyed it, so that probably means a day one purchase so they can watch it more, but I expected it to be funnier. I usually dig the movies my kids watch, but this one didn't do it for me. Someone mentioned the Croods, that one sucked too as far as I was concerned lol.

This was very good and very funny, I saw it twice. Im splitting the digital copy of the 2D presentation, the 3D combo pack, (getting the itunes version for apple tv for myself) with a friend.

Muppets Most Wanted does have a Disney Movie Club preorder, but yes, I am surprised that there aren't any US general public preorders for Muppets Most Wanted or Mr. Peabody and Sherman.

I wouldn't be surprised if Dreamworks is trying to get Fox to release it during a more favorable release date. I would imagine that Fox and Dreamworks would probably try to avoid a BD release date that Disney (or any major release) has, but of course who knows how much influence a competitor's BD release schedule actually has.
