Default Tobe Hooper's The Toolbox Murders

So some of the acting is weak and parts of the storyline are unrealistic and crappy, but that's never really been the emphasis of Tobe Hooper's films, and they don't really need to be. The emphasis is to be shocking and scary, and this one succeeds just like Texas Chainsaw did all those years ago.

What do people think of this film?

This film actually felt unfinished at various times.

I've always liked this slasher, the villain is great.

I think this is one of Hooper's better 'later period' films, but a remake in name only; the story is more wide-reaching than the original. I like the way that the building's architect (and architecure) was a key component. Still disappointed that he never got a chance to do Stephen King's "From a Buick 8".
