Sniper Elite V2 - Your Opinions

I've seen gameplay clips of this, it looks good but I was wondering what everyone else thinks of it? Is it worth getting?

Absolutely. If you like the original on the XBox, you'll LOVE this. Some awesome levels. Challenging, tricky and fun. I love any game that gives me a sniper rifle but this is really good IMO and has great replay value.

I enjoyed it a lot at full price. It's also fun with a partner, one of you spotting. Mic absolutely required, though.

I never played the original. Some sites say it's good, others say it's bad. I just don't want to find out that people are saying it's bad because it's not Call of Duty. Is there a multitude of weapons that can be used? Is the AI crap?

It's not really meant to be a shooter. It's a sniper game. There is a little bit of stealth action, and it's not what I would consider the best stealth game. But obviously, the point of the game is to take out enemies from a distance and not get spotted. You are at a disadvantage in this game, if you get stuck in a close firefight. If methodical gameplay is not your thing, you may not like it.

I never played the Sniper Elite games. SE3 will be the first game I'll play in the series.
