I just received the Indian release. It is region free and looks stunning. On par with the blus of Grapes of Wrath and How Green was My Valley.

Warning though, only the theatrical cut is included! Hopefully the pre-release version will be on the U.S. Blu

...This Title, in the USA has not come out yet (as you already know), while the german, spanish, french and the future italian editon, are the same Disc of Jappo Edition, so it's one Global Release, at least here in Europe, by FOX .

...From fineness of the grain and the overall yeld of the picture , I think this is a 4K Scan , in the last two screen (in particular) is very clear, they are GORGEOUS !

Would be something if Criterion got hold of this and included both versions, rather like their Red River release. As it is I'm going to hold off for now incase the inevitable US release does feature the pre-release version.

So I finally got a chance to watch my copy last night. It looks great. Rich blacks and nice greys and whites. The image was very good and grain unaltered. The mono sounds was good but I had to turn up my receiver a bit more then normal but overall great sound.

No forced subs or anything like that.

Thank you for responding it still wont let me put MDC in the cart I put Christen in and several others maybe they cant send this film to the US because of the Criterion release.

You can import all the releases you want, it's not because of that. If you chose the Amazon.de price (7,97€), it says "Inlandsversandkosten und Rücknahmerichtlinien" (Domestic Shipping and Return Policy), that's why. You have to look for "Internationale und..." (meaning they ship internationally), in this case that "unique-place" seller should ship to you.

Anyway, I think you can have the Ford cheaper at Amazon.it (same thing here, don't choose Amazon.it, go with zoreno or nagiry, which generally ship everywhere)
