Well we do, especially when we are discussing movies. Just doing the SPOILER WARNINGS ALERT won't do since your eyes will tend to read it anyway, consciously or not.
Having spoiler tags that make the text invisible makes it better. fuad |

Or in the words of Luke: Nooooooooooohhhhhhhh!!!!
But back ot: I think it is a good idea. I already try not to watch too many trailers of movies I want to see because they tend to give away the best scenes (I almost always fail to avoid it though; ah the curiosity). And since we're talking BD, the movies are already out and reviewed, so a fair warning would be nice to have. |

Just bringing this back to the top as something I think should be implemented.

Maybe this sounds harsh
But if it's been released, and you haven't seen it, that's your problem IMO If it's a movie based on a book, then you should have read it already. Nothing infuriated me more than the people telling me not to ruin LOTR for them. They had 40 years to read the book..... |

To the admins, I'm to new to know who you are but put this in as a new bbcode and it will give you the spoiler. You can use whatever tag you like but
[Show spoiler] would work just fine.Code:
<div> <div class="pre-spoiler"> <span style="float:left; padding-top: 2px;">Spoiler</span> <input type="button" value="Show" style="width:80px;font-size:10px;margin:0px;padding:0px;" onclick="if (this.parentNode.parentNode.getElementsByTagName('div')[1].getElementsByTagName('div')[0].style.display != '') { this.parentNode.parentNode.getElementsByTagName('div')[1].getElementsByTagName('div')[0].style.display = '';this.innerText = ''; this.value = 'Hide'; } else { this.parentNode.parentNode.getElementsByTagName('div')[1].getElementsByTagName('div')[0].style.display = 'none'; this.value = 'Show';}"> </div> <div> <div class="spoiler" style="display: none;">test</div> </div> </div> |

No I didn't write it, it came from the vbulletin owners forum. I use it on my site and it works great. I saw the request and thought I would share it if they want to employ it here.

It's a site for pachislo and pachinko enthusiasts. A game room site specifically geared towards Japanese Pachinko Parlor machines that get imported here. It's called PachiTalk.com.
