Good player for about €300 in the Netherlands? - Blu-ray Forum

Hi there,

This is my first post on this forum.

I recently bought a HD-TV and am now looking for a good Blu-ray player for about €300 in The Netherlands.

Can anybody send me in the right direction?
It won't have to be a PS3, I'm not a games-man but like to watch good movies.

Why don't you check out the following site :

It's called Kieskeurig and you can check prices but also people's opinion who has a curtain player.

As it happens I do have another question.
Is there a difference between the sony BDP-S300B in Europe and the US?
Except Regional settings that is.

There would be no difference in both models of the 300 player.

Beware though that Sony is planning a follow-up on this player coming out this summer namely the 350.
It features Profile 1.1 and Dolby True-HD / DTS-HD Master Audio bitstreaming which the 300 can't do (Except Dolby which it can)
