I think it was more or a broad message aimed at all drug users. It just kind of sent the message of "what the consequences could be."

Even before watching that movie i still wouldn't touch any other drug besides pot, but after watching it, it made me realize how good of a decision it was to not use anything else

I had a different impression. As a former user of MANY drugs I took from this movie that the old saying "Everything in moderation" is key. The characters depicted in this film let the drugs rule them and make their decisions. Eventually if you put enough of that stuff in your system you WILL die.

Anyway, I'm not at all trying to condone drug use. I stopped of my own volition a few years ago because it wasn't a positive thing for me anymore.

Just a different take.

Seeing Requiem in the theater was one of the most harrowing movie experiences I've witnessed. And one of the most brillant. Aronofsky is probably the best American director of his generation.
