Default Once Upon a Time in Wonderland

Has there been any mention of this coming to BD this year? I know the series is only one season long, and it's about the wrap up it's episodes, so was just wondering? If not, I hope they plan on releasing it. I love both series and would love to add this to my collection.

I don't think the home video release has been announced yet. Hopefully we'll get it on Blu. I'm not sure we'll even see it in the UK.

I hope so... I haven't been following it as it airs but it would be nice to have it on Blu-ray to match Once Upon a Time with a Blu-ray release. I'd buy it and I'd bet other fans of Once Upon a Time would too.

I was following it until it went on break, now I can't remember to watch it... like tonight... missed it.

Which is a shame. They could have done a 2 disc set and released at the same time as Season 3 of OUAT. I really liked it and hope we get it on BD, or at least DVD.

Is there a petition somewhere to ask the publisher a release (at least as a Disney Movie Club exclusive)?

I think we'll be seeing a release of this on blu ray/DVD at a later date. I think the reason they released season three so early was so that people can watch it before season four with all the frozen stuff airs. So I'm guessing once upon a time in Wonderland will be released later this year probably for the fall or Christmas

Would proper love this on Blu to match my OUAT sets!!! I live in the UK and we didn't even get to see Season 3 because our broadcaster dropped it, just got Season 3 in the post the other day and will be settling down to watch it real soon Watched Once Upon a Time in Wonderland online though and loved it, would definitely add it to my collection

I seriously hope so. I already called Disney twice regarding the release of OUAT in Wonderland on blu-ray and they had no info whatsoever. The lovely lady who spoke to me actually told me that it was probably going to be released next year. But I'm still skeptical about it.

Why wait so long to release the show? It would make more sense to be released with its parent show. I just can't believe we may not have the complete OUAT experience on blu-ray without the Wonderland show.

It would have been too risky to release both OUAT and OUATW at the same time on blu-ray or DVD, because it might have seemed to expensive for fans and customers. It seems that ABC's big batches of new releases turn up in September and March. So who knows: OUATinWonderland might be released in March.

I'm with you, Kevin. I called Disney again at the beginning of November and they still didn't have a release date for it. But then again, the person I talked to could only see the release calendar up till January.

I'm cautiously optimistic that a blu release is upon us. One good factor is that it wasn't announced even for a DVD release yet, so there's hope, right? No way it was unpopular enough to not even get a DVD release...right? I'd never buy it on DVD, though. Once you go blu, there's no turning back. So they'd better give it to us on BD!

I hope it gets released too but spare a thought for us Once Upon A Time fans in the UK, we didn't even get it on TV (although if it was a mini-series Christmas would be ideal) and Channel5 lost the rights to Once Upon A Time as ABC wanted too much for season three (and it seems no one else met their demands), which means our BDs have stopped at season two! I'd imagine until normal broadcasts resume we won't be getting anymore!

That's very unfortunate, Chip. I hope ABC and Channel5 can find a reasonable agreement for this situation so you guys in the UK can watch the show on TV and on Home Video as well. And if they don't, is it common for another channel to buy the rights for an ongoing series?

Cause it seems you guys are 2 seasons (counting OUAT in Wonderland) and a half late!

It is unfortunate. Occasionally a huge show will start life on a free-to-air channel and get bought out by Sky (Channel4 had LOST and Glee for a few seasons before Sky outbid them for the later seasons) or another paid service.

Once Upon A Time is weird though, you're getting the Frozen-themed episodes which should be huge everywhere but we're a season and a half behind as we stopped after season 2 with OUAT. Season three was fantastic too and I'm sure it would have had decent ratings on Channel5. Maybe once OUAT goes into syndication we'll get it daily but that maybe years away!

At the moment I'm just waiting for Season's Three Once Upon A Time's BD to drop a bit in price and keeping my fingers crossed (like everyone else) for a Wonderland release (I hope Alice pops into Storybrooke again!).
