"German" title: The Return of the First Avenger

Why Germany doesn't use the correct title or adds stuff to their titles makes no sense to me.

This is the first I have ever heard this referred to as "Return of the First Avenger".

I think it's just their whole language thing, it is interesting though why it seems to be Marvel movies that get the strange titles. I have some German titles, but those aren't different, like Gladiator is Gladiator, Gravity is Gravity, even Dawn of the Dead is Dawn of the Dead, weird.

I would understand if they had a german title instead, but they replace an english title with another english title.

The same happened with "Thor: The dark world". In germany it is called "Thor: The dark kingdom"

I was more referring to when they use the regular title but then put the stupid punch line or whatever it is below the title. Like Bad Boys...why is Harte Jungs needed. Maybe it is just me but I can't stand that.

Harte Jungs is the title of the film in Germany. It roughly translates to the same thing (literally translation is Hard Guys, which might be a decent pr0n parody)

In Sweden, they have named it Captain America: The Return of the First Avenger... I have no idea why...

So at least we know now that the Steelbook will be Title-less on front and spine. Hopefully Best Buy and FS will step up again.

So this is what the worldwide releases will look like. Ugly photo spine again . Although the artwork is really nice. Hope they don't have some random portraits on the back like they did with Thor 2.
