I might get that one too. It depends on whether the case has the normal release and slip inside the box or not, otherwise I'm not sure what to do. We're not having a 3D lenticular release with Jumbo Amaray this year?

It's not been confirmed yet but I would imagine we would - it has the same amount of discs as the first and all the Warners 3D releases have been lenticular. It might not change the image like the first did though, just a 3D-looking version of the regular art.

Isn't that the extended version though? Or was there another standard release. I didn't pay attention because I was only interested in the EE.

Standard 3D release had a Jumbo Amaray with Gollum / Bilbo lenticular cover.

Not yet, I received the despatched email on my last 2 pre-orders from Zavvi on Thursdays and I received the blus on Saturday before release.

My last two from zavvi was despatched on the Tuesday and Wednesday arriving Thursday and Friday. Those preorders were Thor 2 and Frozen. I just assumed it would be at some point today. Never mind then.

I promised myself I'd wait for the extended cut. I failed to do this last year, bought the theatrical, then traded it when the extended came out. I can feel my resolve slipping and can very well see myself picking this up Monday

I will end up double dipping as I suspect they will also bring out the extended in 3D steelbook too. My 3D theatrical steel is on its way

Ha, last year I said I would wait for extended edition boxset of all 3 films and I caved in almost as soon as I said that.
This time i'm not even going to try and delude myself, I will be buying both the theatrical and extended editions.

My 2D asda one I pre ordered ages ago was dispatched at 4pm. It says estimated delivery tomorrow morning which would be nice as it would give me something to watch on my day off from college. Loved this film in the cinema can't wait to see and hear what it is like on Blu

Our new titles come out on a Friday here in Ireland and they come out on a Monday in the U.K.
