That is an awesome price for a BD laptop.

Now if only they would announce a nice ultra-portable with a similar pricing scheme

Yes for a burner...it's excellent. Be nicer if it ran Linux instead of Vista.

I find it funny for *ANY* laptop with something like a BD drive and a screen of only:
15.4” WXGA (1280x800) with XBRITE HiColor™ technology or XBRITE-ECO™ technology

Mine can DISPLAY the Blu-ray movie in 1080p(1920x1200 screen, Full HD 1080)
This one can still be purchased for $2499, comes with XP MCE - NOT Vista!
