Post Who saw Indy 4 today (5/22)?

I just came from seeing "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" today. Action-packed from start to finish, and then some! The movie ranks right up there with "Raiders of the Lost Ark"! Harrison Ford is great as always, Karen Allen makes a triumphant and welcome return to her Marion Ravenwood character, Cate Blanchett is one tough Russian broad, and Shia LaBeouf just flat-out surprised me!! I was at first skeptical of Shia LaBeouf being in the movie, but now I completely stand corrected! Go see it today, people! Now, before the Memorial Day crowds kick in!

Default Its a good movie

There something u must remember.. . the movie is PG-13

Alot of folks thinking that they want Indiana Jones film to make it look like an R-rating movie.. with all that killing, blood, gore, u know.. i wish there was one but this movie is PG-13.. so it is not too violence but non-gore and non-bloody. But it is fun to watch.

This movie really mix up with bunch of stuff with visual effects.. I thought it wont be any visual effects going after the beginning of the film looks so old school then turn to digital. Well watch this with your family or if u a die hard Indy fans...

The film didnt dissapoint me and remember, Harrison Ford is old.

I saw it today. I liked it but I felt it could have been better. I left the theatre thinking...after 19 years, this is the best they could come up with...crystal skulls!!!...lame!!!...come on!! I didn't care for the crystal skulls storyline but I did enjoy seeing Indy & Marion plus the Mutt Williams character is great. But there seems to be too much CGI, story driven effects for a Spielberg film (he normally just uses CGI to help tell the story, not be overpowering the story if that makes any sense...like 'The Mummy II')...the whole climax of INDY4 is a giant, expensive, CGI effect that made me wanna yell out WTF!!! I think this ranks #4 for me in favorites of the series. I hope they make more though.

I did, although I do NOT agree with any comparisons to Raiders.

I was disapointed...not. That was possibly the best theater experience in my life. Really awesome film. Super action packed, great story, awesome sfx, and some good laughs. It brought back memories of raiders. I can't wait for it to come out on blu.

You know... I'm glad I read all of the hate for this movie in the other thread. It brought my expectations down so low that I really enjoyed the film.

Thanks!

It was an AWESOME time at the theater. Woooooo!!

Not a good movie for a 5 year old. One seen in particular scared a same aged kid right out of the theater in tears while I was waiting for the next showing. I wondered what could have scared him that bad, then I saw it and understood. I would think twice, honestly. My wife is a kindergarten teacher and concurs.....

Well I am going to the 1:45 pm showing later on today, and I really hope there are no small children in the theater, but hey, I saw the Temple of Doom, when I was a child, and it scared the Bejesus out of me.

And monkeys fly out of my butt. Great movie, great casting, fun and thrills from start to finish, I grinned through the whole movie from ear to ear and it totally felt like an Indiana Jones movie from beginning to end. Can't wait to have it on Blu!

An "R" rating in no way what so ever goes with an Indy film. Good God. Try and imagine the F word being used and bare breasts and butt cheeks. These adventure films are for the entire family.

Sorry for having an opinion, none the less it appears that I 'm definately not the only one disappointed by this trash. If you enjoyed it good for you, I'm just saying it was bad.no wait......really bad.
