Sorry to bring this old thread up, but what is the best release of Police Story 2013 picture and audio quality wise?
The HK version seems to have a lossless Cantonese track, but I am unsure if this is the actually original language track (for instance the US Version only has a lossless Mandarin track and IMDB also says "Mandarin" as the original Version)? |

In terms of the best audio, I suppose the Japanese release? I think it's the only one with lossless audio that doesn't change the title of the film too (although I don't know offhand if the "Lockdown" releases actually altered the credits). But, it's not English-friendly. The English-friendly lossless releases are the American and UK releases (and arguably the German for the English soundtrack, although there are no English subs). |
