Donner is like eighty years old and seems pretty out of it by this point...I can't see him up to the rigors of another movie of any kind, let alone a rambunctious adventure film like Goonies 2.

This is probably going to go the way of Ghostbusters III. A lot of talk, a lot of "it's happening, it's not happening, it's happening..." I love The Goonies, and would watch a sequel, but I'm not going to be too disappointed if they never actually get this off the ground. Might be a "just leave it alone" situation. We'll see.

Maybe I'm in the minority, but Hollywood needs a serious "gut check".

Some movies shouldn't be remade or have sequels created. In my opinion, The Goonies falls in that realm.

This is a childhood classic that shouldn't be perverted or touched in anyway, shape or form.
