Blu-ray Grand Duke

I've gone for Moonrise Kingdom. The story is completely and utterly sweet, the humour is wonderfully wry, the cast is at the top of it's game and the host of characters are Anderson best creations.
![]() While I really enjoyed Grand Budapest, the film never really caught the balance between whimsical and bitter, but it's still a really fun and funny romp! ![]() |

+ 1 .
Easily my favorite. Saw that one on opening Christmas day. , a few months later at the 2nd run theaters and years later at an outdoor campus screening. PLus probably another dozen times on DVD. Thats one just hits me in so many ways. Especially the choice of all the great music used. |

I thoroughly enjoy all of Wes Anderson's work. If I had to choose my favorite, I'd have to give the nod to Bottle Rocket. It might be a peculiar choice, and I don't believe it to be Anderson's finest film, but I find the film to be especially re-watchable and entertaining.

I've put a lot of thought into this, and my favorite really might be The Grand Budapest Hotel. Several of his films are instant classics, and I love virtually every film he's made, but I really think this one might take the cake for me.
