Yup - I was replying to Casper about being able to see Captain America 2 on Friday. For some reason we've had every Marvel film since Iron Man 2 (except for the first Captain America) at least a week earlier than the American release. Not a complaint at all though (we're also getting Amazing Spider-Man 2 two weeks earlier than the States)

I dont mind this artwork. But if i had a choice i would prefer they atleast use the same image where he has his mask on. Not that im a big baby about the character's not wearing a mask or helmet like some people, but i just think it looks better:

I love the HMV shield cover, would love the design of this to follow suit and use the teaser poster. Wishful thinking though, i am sure we will get an action shot of Cap instead.

The thing I found funniest about this in the movie is that he starts out with the practically paintless shield and between the time he is hiding and the final conflict it is magically repainted.

I think he had two shields. the one in his apartment was painted. the one he took to the boat thing was the colourless one.

Because he had to get the uniform form the display in the museum, I think he took that shield. That gets into then are there two made of the vandandium

A: It's spelt Vanadium.
B: Cap's shield isn't made of that. It's made out of Vibranium. Sure, Vibranium doesn't actually exist, but if you're going to say it, atleast say it correctly.
C: Pretty sure that it's meant to be just one shield that get's repainted after almost every most battle. Easy to repaint metal with the right sort of paint.
