Default buying a computer

I am extremely eager to get the new Macbook Pro, but I am thinking that if I wait till December or so, Mac should have laptops with built-in BD drives by then. Any ideas?

Apple is a member of the BDA so I would think the chances of them releasing a PowerBook with a Blu-ray drive this fall or winter of '07 to be very good. I don't recall whether they've made any specific announcements yet but perhaps someone else here with more knowledge on the matter will weigh in.

I'm waiting at least another year.

I gave my AGP based PC one last hurrah with a great price on a evga Geforce 7800 GS CO Superclock for the sake of games like ESIV: Oblivion and so forth.

I know I'll get AT LEAST another year of great shelf life out of all of that and then I'll probably upgrade to a Vista based PC with a BR drive somewhere, from the ground up.

The longer I can wait, the better. I'm in no hurry to pass that expensive kidney stone, which it will be even if I do it myself, which saves tons of money btw.
