Default Disney's Pinocchio: No special features on the 1-Disc release?

I just got this disc, which is supposed to be region free according to the packaging (it's not) and it doesn't appear to have any special features, even though they're printed on the back cover and Amazon's site says it does.

Can anyone confirm this disc has no special features?

an other user, notes on amazon that they also had a disk with no features and locked to B.

70th Anniversary Platinum Edition I believe contains those extras and that set was clearly marked as region B.

you could email amazon and tell them the product not as described and get refunded

Yes this is Disney being as cheap and careless as possible.

Pinocchio was released back in 2009 as a 3 disc region B locked Platinum edition. Disc 1 was the film, disc 2 was the extras and disc 3 was a DVD.

Last year they rereleased it as a cheap one disc edition by repackaging disc 1 of the set and removing the Platinum Edition banner off the front cover. Carelessy, they forgot to remove the list of disc 2 extras on the back and lied about the region for some reason.

Thanks for letting me know! I couldn't find any reference to this problem. I felt like I was in the twilight zone. Were there any threads about this?

Yeah it was mentioned in the Official Disney thread when it was rereleased.

If I were you I would return that crappy rerelease version stating it is not as described if you aren't happy with it and buy the original release which is currently £13 on Amazon although is still region locked.

Already chatted with them. They said it was an error from the fullfilment centre and they would ship me the correct one. I told them that I thought they'd end up sending the same one again. So I opted to return it. I would think that item would be red flagged by now.

Maybe I'll get this one for Amazon Japan:

Very sloppy packaging indeed; not the first time I've seen that happen in the UK due to reuse of old masters. If region coding was your concern, you shoulda looked at Blu-ray.com before ordering -- though I would hope a user with an IFCO classification symbol as his avatar knows that already.
