Anyone buy ths one yet? Looking for how it compares to MLB 2K7...

^^ So far some fairly decent numbers and reviews coming in. Interestingly enough: The PS2 version of the game seems to have some slightly higher numbers from a few of the outlets, for whatever reason.

From what I have read, it's a great game, but the graphics are not that impressive. While they are much better than the PS2 version, they will not blow you away. The gameplay is supposedly what makes the game. Gamespot gave it an 8.2, and they said it is the best baseball game on PS3. I am going to try and rent it before buying.

Most of these guys just love to bash PS3 games.

I think the PS2 version of the game is because the graphics fit that platform better. I have always loved the MLB 0x games, but I am hesitant because 07 seems to be a PS2 port. For game spot to rate it higher than 2k7 it, in all likelihood, plays a lot better. I got frustrated with 2k7's annoying save features and all but gave up on it. I'll probably wait for next year for a true next gen baseball game from Sony.
