Wow, that was actually pretty good. Was pleasantly surprised.

For those of you who watched the trailers and promos and weren't impressed or compelled to watch thinking this was just another cop show, this was more of a Mexican crime family drama. The comparison to The Departed was pretty dead on and I saw a little bit of USA's Graceland in this.

Had some grittiness to it, but being on network TV, they obviously had some limits. I think it set the story up pretty well. Was pretty impressed with Ramon Rodriguez. He's really the lead of the series.

The shootout at the race track was pretty intense.

I was also really surprised with the ending:

I'm sold. I'm for the season.

Dvr'd this last night. About to relax for the evening and give it a watch! Hopefully it catches my attention because I'd love to start a new show since everything I watch just had their season finales.

I know the chances of this getting a second season are extremely slim. Hopefully FOX sticks with it for the summer and it will be at least a fun remaining 12 episodes. I enjoy Chris Morgan's work from the Fast and Furious movies.

Watched the season finale today...wow! What can happen when you play both sides?

Enjoyed all the actors/actresses & characters... especially Cliff Curtis as JAVIER ACOSTA, Ramon Rodriguez as RYAN LOPEZ, Terry O'Quinn as SAM CHAPEL & Shantel VanSanten as JESSICA CHAPEL.

Hoping GANG RELATED will be renewed for a S 2 & it will not be another TV show I enjoy bite the dust!!!

This was a great summer series. Whether or not it gets a 2nd season, the time investment over the last 13 weeks was worth. Lots of action, suspense and a surprising death along with a very interesting Godfather-like dynamic with the Acosta family. They definitely left some room for a second season.

Man, even though there are alot of shows on this summer, I really can see the TV forum isn't the most popular forum on this site. Alot of these show threads are dead. Even during the TV season alot of these threads are dead.

I really hope this show gets renewed for a second season and that it comes out on blu ray. One of the best cop shows in years.
