Terrrrrrrrible movie but cool looking steel. Won't be getting this one on principal though. I don't care if they change facts to make the movie better but in this case they changed a lot of facts and the movie was much worse than it should have been.

It's a good looking Steel. More or less exactly what I expected of it image wise.

Most likely what happened was it was some regional flood in the Middle East and some guy built a small ark, not the Royal Carribbean Oasis-class cruise ship size thing in the movie, to house his family and his livestock. That would have made a terrible movie.

I was considering maybe seeing about picking this up until I read some of the plot synopsis. After reading some of it I can tell the screenwriters got no feedback at all during the writing of the screenplay. Pass.

Before any discussion about religion comes into play here lets just agree to disagree about that.

If Bevins doesn't want to get it then they don't want to get it. Their own personal reason should remain that, their reason. So before this goes off topic lets stay on topic.

Since this is a FS exclusive there might be a chance BB US might get this. Keyword is "might" though. That would be great if BB got the FS exclusive for Lone Survivor.

Good looking steel, didn't like the movie. I don't mind when they base a movie off a story/book and change it at times to make it better. I thought the changes from the original story in this case didn't make for a good movie.

Some critics praised it but it's been panned by audiences. Usually it's the other way around but from what I read of the plot I'm leaning toward agreeing with audiences as the plot didn't seem to remain true to the spirit of the story it was based on, and tasteless stuff was thrown in from what I can tell.

Now, granted, I haven't yet watched the film, but usually when audiences pan a biblical film in America it's because it struck the wrong chord.

Just something to keep in mind if you're blind buying. I think this is going to be a love-it-or-hate-it film. Maybe someday I'll see it but others in my household were also very on the fence about seeing it because word of mouth said it presented its story poorly.


A bit more on topic but Crowe's beard on the cover of this Steelbook looks weird.
