Post Christian Bale opens up about Heath Ledger

According to People.com, Christian Bale wanted to share "The Dark Knight" with the late Heath Ledger, calling Ledger "intense" and "anarchistic", but "incredibly mellow and laid-back".

I've enjoyed every movie I've seen Bale in. I can't wait to see what he'll do next.

What do you think of Christian Bale taking on the role of John Connor for the next Terminator movie in 2009?

He'll bring a nice dimension to it. I'm excited to see it.

The Prestige was INCREDIBLE!

I instantly became interested when I found out Bale was involved (or rather, more interested). I doubt I'm the only one

Christian Bale has been a tremendous actor since Empire of the Sun, and is and always will be my favorite actor.

For those of you who are bandwagon Christian Bale fans for movies such as The Prestige, Rescue Dawn, Batman, and 3:10 To Yuma or maybe those who enjoy his work but aren't familiar with all of his movies, check out the following:

The Machinist
Harsh Times
Equilibrium

Movies that he is not exactly "known" for by the general public, but shines as an amazing actor throughout.

Equilibrium was the first movie I saw him in and I loved it. Not a well known movie, but still good none-the-less.

Christian Bale is one of the most under appreciated and overlooked actors in Hollywood. That in a way is a good thing. The movie Killing Pablo that he and Javier Bardem and Public Enemies with Johnny Depp are going to be amazing.

I try to listen to when he is using his real accent. I think that Reign of Fire is the only one with his real Welsh accent.

I think he did more acting with his eyes in The Machinist than with his frail body.

I remember flipping through the channels and HBO was playing american psycho, I never saw it before and never really appreciated his acting talent till I saw this movie. I'll definetly be watching batman when it comes out. Heath Ledger is a great actor too, A Knights Tale is one of my favs.

His performance in The Machinist really creeped me out. It's hard to believe he actually lost that much weight to play that role.

Dude can even sing too. You guys remember the Disney musical "Newsies" about the New York newspaper boys' strike? He even managed to give a good turn in that. The guy's got talent.

Speaking of Bale and Ledger, I watched "I'm Not There" yesterday. Both actors did a great job in the movie.

Agreed, Bale is awesome. I recently watched a lesser-known Ledger movie on DVD called Ned Kelly - pretty good!
