Well the existence of a 5th was no suprise the actually thing to pull from this is kojima changed his mind about this being his "personal" last metal gear.

It was thought that the next ones would be handled by others...

God, if they are trying to put Snake in the game again, it would need a flashback storyline like MGS3. I just can't see this happening after MGS4 unless theres a new character involved.
