Default Dragonball & Dragonball Z On Blu-ray???when??

So as funimation has been releasing the movies and as the dragonball z seasons have all been remastered in HD do you think they will release the dragonball and dragonball z seasons on blu considering the first dbz blu sold so well and the 2nd is hot right now. i stopped buying the seasons on dvd b/c of this reason. come on db and dbz blu!

Well, there's been several DBZ films on blu-ray already but as we all know the series will eventually be on blu-ray someday. Just gotta be patient.

Funimation seems to be active with Blu-Ray so hopefully this will happen one day. One nice thing will be the compact nature of the sets. Given the high storage capacity available, they should be able to put entire sagas on only a few discs.

Dude i thought Justice League would be the furthest from being released, but here we are and its being released, If Funimation sees that the movies are doing well, maybe after all the DBZ seasons come out on DVD then they will bring them out on Blu. No worries

It should be released for those who want it. I have way too many VHS of DB and DBZ to care. They are just collecting dust and taking up space. I tend to like the movies better anyway because they get to the point a lot quicker and are not drawn out like the show. (more so DBZ not really DB.)

Those season sets are selling amazingly well, If they released a BD version it would put a dent on the DVD sales, so they'll probably release the BDs one they're done with the DVDs. That way they'll get money from BD fans and double dippers alike...

FUNimation likes to milk their anime fans. They'll release every season on DVD first and then they'll start to release the seasons on Blu-ray. I know it's a waste of money but I'll be buying every season they put out on both DVD and Blu-ray. It's an addiction. I just hope they give us an option to choose between full screen and widescreen when they finally hit Blu-ray. I would hate for all the seasons to be chopped up (even though that's what they're doing now with the newer seasons). I want the hi-def releases to have the correct aspect ratio.

i had every single db/dbz vhs and sold them to get the dbz dvd's. as for the dbz series inside the dvd's is a page that says every episode has been remastered and cleaned via sonys hd cam. so if they are in widescreen and in hd (they are up to season 5 on dvd) that should mean that they have all those episodes in HD right?
