Firmware Update for Samsung -UP5000? - Blu-ray Forum

Has anybody heard of the status for a firmware update on the Samsung -UP5000 to be able to bitstream in DTS-MA and Dolby Tru HD (5.1). The last I heard was that their engineers were working on it.

check on the AVS forum they have open tread about this player,samsung still working on that firmware maybe by the end of the month according to them.

The firmware is available now. I just upgraded it. Love the DTS HD MA logo on my Yammy!

Weird, I downloaded from the Canadian Sammy site cause im from canada, but i wasn't able to find the same firmware on the US site.

Its there, the main site is just mis labeled...Once you click on the "Firmware 1.2" link on the downloads page, it brings you to where the 1.3 is located...
