Default Young Guns II release and Young Guns remaster

I know they aren't exactly Once Upon a Time in the West, but I love the Young Guns movies and watch them on DVD a couple of times a year. I never bought the Young Guns blu because by all accounts it wasn't an upgrade over the DVD. Young Guns II still isn't out on blu nor has a release even been announced.

I would love to see a remaster of Young Guns and Young Guns II released in a set. I'd pick it up day 1!

Waiting on a remaster as well. I didn't buy the first blu cause people were saying it didn't look great and I still hesitated on buying cause there hasn't been a word on part 2.

I don't care if it's Twilight Time or Shout Factory, I want these two films to be given a full service 4K remaster and double pack release.

These were both successful movies.
Part II is estimated to have had the same earnings as the first one.
They wouldn't have bothered making the 2nd if the first wasn't popular, so with both of these movies as a success, why such shitty treatment for home video?

It's really quite surprising that Part I never had a proper release, and then to leave Part II just blowing in the wind like that.
It's a damn shame.

Certainly not an unpopular sentiment.
It's been a while since I've seen either one, but from what I recall, I think I liked Part II a little more.

And that is the problem.

If Warner owned both I could see them bringing the sequel to blu-ray on a double pack or whatever and it would probably sell fairly well.

The sequel on its own... maybe not worth their time but I'd pick it up as a solid back catalogue title that I've not seen since it came out when I was a kid.
