Welcome to Blu-ray.com! PQ is Picture Quality and AQ is Audio Quality. No need to be, not everyone knows these terms.

PQ stands for Picture Quality and AQ stands for Audio Quality

I had someone ask me what I was talking about the other day when I kept saying SD for standard def. Not everyone is up on our lingo.

Hello and welcome! There is also a Glossary at the top on the horizontal menu bar that helped me with all the lingo on the boards.

Aww, and everyone goes and gets all nice and helpful. lol I was going to be a smartass and say it stood for Deductive Reasoning and that I wasn't sure it was abbreviated that way instead of DR. Ha.
