Default 'Original Post' included as a header post of each page of a thread?

Just wondering if you guys have looked into or considered including the original of a thread on each subsequent page? I think this would be helpful mostly for large discussion threads where FAQs and links could be easily accessible at all times. Just a thought. Thanks

Personally I think this is a terrible idea. Threads with lots of links and pics in the first post would create havoc in every additional page.

True. Agree with you now that I think of some of the threads out there.

Maybe a customizable 'sticky' for each thread then, where they could put key links and information. It may help on reducing repetitive questions.

I like the idea of forcing people to actually read the first post of thread, it would cut down on the same questions being asked over and over because they can't be bothered to check the OP.

But on the other hand I hate having to see the first post on every page like on certain other forums that use this style. So I guess you really can't win either way.

This is true. For majority of threads it is a non-issue, but just some major ones, like the Halloween thread for example, where the same question(s) are repeated literally every page. I understand though that everyone comes out of the woodwork for something like that and are just super excited
