I like Jerry Seinfeld, but not nearly as much as Leonardo DiCaprio and Samuel L. Jackson. I have never heard of Shah Rukh Khan.

It's odd that Seinfeld is so wealthy, as pretty much the only thing he's appeared in since his series ended over 15 years ago was Bee Movie.

Wow Jerry still doing very well. I can't believe Tyler Perry is up there/ What's nuts about him is in the UK hardly anyone knows who he is. I just had to explain who he was to the person sitting next to me at work. His movies are unheard of over here (i don't count Alex Cross among those though, even though that didn't do very well).

Very few foreigners like Tyler Perry. There is a very small market for him on the east side of the Atlantic Ocean/west side of the Pacific Ocean.

However, the market for him is huge in North America and South America.

Jerry is worth 800+MM... literally the richest yet least funniest comedian on the planet, well maybe next to Sarah Silverman. The Seinfeld series is hilarious though, but his stand up is pretty blaw. I'm guessing he owes Larry David a big ol' smooch right on the butt.

I'd not heard of him until i visited the US for three months in 2008. I went to the cinema several times whilst there and i'd see billboards and posters for movies (that looked horrendous) starring this guy. I was like 'who the hell is he?' lol.

I hate his movies. They're almost always about an evil man who mistreats his lady.

I think the Seinfeld syndication rights is why Jerry is so rich.

Say what you will about his directing style (admittedly, which is not good) but the due to shrewd businessman. Between directing, having a successful playwright career and mutliple television shows on air and in syndication, the guy is just making bank.

Pretty much. I don't know why people are so surprised by his net worth. He's been getting those huge syndication deals for years(as has Larry David). There's a reason he was so willing to walk away from the crazy offer NBC made to him for a 10th season of Seinfeld. Because he was already filthy rich from the episodes he'd done(that and I think even he knew the show was starting to suck from a creative standpoint).

Shah Rukh Khan is a huge Indian movie star (as well as producer, business man, owner of IPL Cricket Team, etc) very well known in many parts of the world (not just India) where Indian (Hindi) movies are popular, including Middle East, Africa, Asia & Russia, and also to a certain extent in parts of Europe including UK.

On a related note, Julia Louis-Dreyfus (co-star on Seinfeld) is likely to become a billionaire through inheritance.

He was also an Admiral in Star Trek.

Definitely. Larry David was the heart and soul of 'Seinfeld'. As soon as he left the show went down really fast and just became goofy and stupid.

Larry went on to make another hilarious, successful show and talentless Jerry pretty much sat on his pile of cash doing nothing interesting.

I'm not even sure he could be described as an actor as Seinfeld only ever played himself and not that well. Oh well, it was a long running and very good show, so I don't begrudge anybody any money.

Seasons 8 and 9 were a lot better than the early years and their quality remained the same as the preceding few seasons. Or, you could get a giant hard on for Larry David, I guess.

Seasons 8 and 9 are pretty much universally recognized as being weaker. Even the cast and crew acknowledge it. Season 8 in particular was cringe-inducing.
