I don't think 3D is going away anytime soon. As long as the studios can make a quick buck with it, it will be around.

Considering there is a wide release for a Futurepak in the states for this I would be surprised if BB also does a steelbook...I guess you never know though.

Perhaps in the home video market, and if it is, you'll hear no complaints from me. But theatrical 3D isn't going anywhere, there's just too much money to be made.
