I know a home video release is inevitable, but damn let the movie get released in theaters first

Also I wouldn't be surprised if there are other store exclusives for this as well.

Target and Fox have been jumping the gun. They also posted the Rio 2 exclusive before the movie started playing in theaters, lol.

At any rate, it just goes to show you that BD exclusives are developed very early while all the filmmakers are still around and working on the movie. If you wait until after post production is completed, the principals have already left to work on other movies.

I read the book earlier this year and thought the movie was excellent! I thought it was adapted well for the screen. Of course the book was better, but it was great seeing the characters I became attached to on the big screen. I will be seeing it again soon!

I loved this film and will definitely be getting it on Blu-ray. However, I'm going to hold off on pre-ordering it for now.

That's been rumored over in the Movie thread for a few weeks now, though nothing concrete has appeared.

By the way, Amazon Canada has a listing that includes a "gift" (again, nothing concrete about what that "gift" might be).

I just hope that the Extended version isn't gimped in any way like the GI Joe: Retaliation Extended version was (it drops featurettes on the regular version and doesn't include the theatrical cut).

According to Amazon, it includes both versions and all the features, which is why I find it weird they're offering two editions.

EDIT: According to this, it's an Amazon exclusive which makes more sense.

I'm not sure this will be a standard release or an exclusive, it comes with the bracelet so I got to assume it's an exclusive of some sort, possibly amazon exclusive with bracelet and the extended edition no bracelet sold at all retailers

I went to the theater with my wife to see this because she wanted to and i must say that it was one of the saddest

films i have ever seen, most likely up there in top 3. This film was actually great and it actually made me tear....
