The new Mac Operating System from Apple coming this fall.

The icons are now flat, like on iOS 7. Also coming this fall is iOS 8, but this thread is to discuss Mac OS X Yosemite.

Looks good to me! I don't use my Macbook for a whole lot, but it definitely seems like this will make things a bit better.

Too bad they didn't name it after a big cat, must've run out of them.

They ran out last year, so they switched to areas in CA. The first one, Mavericks last year. It's a popular surfing area in CA.

As far as OS X Yosimite, it looks interesting. Just depends how many bugs this thing has when it comes out.

I like that you'll be able to make or receive calls from the Mac in Yosemite. I don't like having to go fetch my phone when it rings. Ill have to buy an iPhone now to make it work...

IIRC they changed the name theme from big cats to their favorite vacation/ group meeting places.

Looking forward to the beta release.
