POTC at Target B&M? - Blu-ray Forum

Does anyone know if Target will be selling the POTC movies? I went there yesterday to ask and no one knew. The flyer does not show them being advertised. If they are priced lower than BB or CC, this would help with price-matching.

They have them on their website for 22.99, but last time I was at target they only had like 10 BD's, so hard to say if they will have them at the store.

Yes, Target will be selling both Pirates on Blu-ray. I work there and saw both in the backroom on Saturday.

The price will propbably be 29.99 like most of their Blu-rays

Reason I ask is that a couple they had recently were priced at $24.99 for a week.....of course I think they were also in the weekly ad.....

My local Target never seems to have more than 10 movies. I've never bought any there, no selection.

Best Buy has them on their ad for $50 for both of the POTC movies on blu-ray. Also Circuit City has them in their ad for 29.99 each and when you buy both of the POTC movies you get a $15 gift card.

Anyone know where I can find the advertised price for BB in store sale? I want to print it out and take it in to Fry's. I don't like buying from BB and Fry's is closer.

My local target is fairly pathetic about stocking blu-ray titles. I wanted to get Goodfellas there. I saw the HD-DVD version of it on the shelf and figured Target would get the BD. Never happened.

When Casino Royale shipped, it took my Target three weeks after release date before they had it in stock. By then, everyone who wanted the BD already had one and Target hasn't been able to sell them. There is some BD activity, though. Some HD-DUD activity too, unfortunately. Very little shelf space dedicated to either one. Only room for 15 titles total for BD and 15 titles total for HD-DUD. The local Fry's and CC are much much better.

Got mine this morning from Best Buy. They price-matched the Target on-line price of $23.95. Of course they did not take another $10 off of that, but that's ok, it came out to $47.90 minus a $5.00 Reward Zone coupon I had....so $42.90 plus 5% tax....total of $45.04......or $22.52 each.

They had a ton of them.

Can't wait to view them and to also see what the sales results are.
