Default Ballistics: X vs. NC-17

Who thinks NC-17 should be replaced by the old X rating?

There is nothing wrong with the movie rating system other than the MPAA's ability to be swayed by well respected people in hollywood. Inherently the rating system works and most people understand the NC-17 rating due to the fact Showgirls was such a big news story back in the day. The X rating is reserved mostly for Pornography, to denote it as pornography, although these movies aren't actually rated by the MPAA. Why change a system that works? The real system that needs a heavy overhaul is the videogame rating system in the US. It just plain does not work.
