Joe Versus the Volcano (1990) recently showed up in HDX on Vudu. Hopefully that is a sign that this gem of a movie will finally get a proper blu-ray release!!

Any news???

I sure hope so. This and The Burbs are my two favorite Hank's movies.

I saw this when it first came out and didn't care for it. It's been quite a while, so maybe I should give it another chance sometime.

I would love a Blu-ray of this film. One of my favorite romantic films and both Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan are great in this one.

I'm considering looking for a decent sized 1080i broadcast of this and making a custom Blu-ray, no menus or anything, until WB releases it. It's what I've done for multiple movies unavailable on Blu-ray in any Region.
I'd happily upgrade this movie to Blu-ray if WB puts it on a BD50.

Come on man. Don't bump a thread for a movie that needs a release unless you got some information. Makes people get excited and then massively disappointed.
