How doI tell if my copy of Fifth Element is remastered? - Blu-ray Forum

I just got it in the mail today from buy.com. When I compare covers from this website. I see no differences.

It says remastered on buy.com

If the UPC # ends with the 5-digit code of 15018, then you do not have the remastered edition.

Also it says re-mastered on the white security tape .

The packaging will have a 2007 date on the bottom back cover.

A note on how to identify this edition on store shelves: While the box art for this remastered edition is nearly identical to the earlier Blu-ray release, the words "Experience High Definition" appear in silver foil, (not gray), and Dolby TrueHD is listed among the audio tracks on the back of the box on this new edition.

Additionally:

Unless you're buying it used - the odds are pretty unlikely that you would get the original (crappy) release, as the original release has been pulled from circulation. Stores or sites selling Fifth Element new should only be selling the remastered edition.
