Default Petition for Heroes on Blu-ray

Hey everyone,

i just wanted to see how much interest and how many people would sign an online petition to give to universal to get Heroes on Blu-Ray or else we just wont buy it on DVD at all.

ps - how can we start the petition, im kinda new to the online petition thing, but im angered as that i cant watch heroes in HD

Heroes will be on HD DVD initially. Look for it on BD in 2008 when Universal will probably go dual format.
A petition will not make any difference.
I personally will be buying it on HD DVd since it will be out this Summer. That is the advantage of being dual format. Anyone who is truly into HD will be dual format. There are too many good movies on both formats to only purchase on one. And after watching and recording HD for 6 years I'm not going to limit my self to only certain titles. 95% of everything I watch is HD I will cherish the day when that number is 100%

Me too. I can't wait. I broke down and bought a HD-DVD player. Actually, Heroes is the only reason I didn't wait for blu-ray to win the war. God I love that show.

A petition can make a difference. However in this particular case you are probably correct.

Actually, it's because I am truly into Hi-Def that I support Blu-Ray but not its competitor. The proof is clear that having 2 formats is inhibiting widespread adoption of the hi-density disc concept and thereby slowing down the studios' motivation to remaster and produce HD material. I'm using my fun-money to vote for Blu since it's better technology and more convenient for me, being a PS3 owner. Short-term, yes, there's more to be had having both formats; I'm doing my part for the long term success of Blu-Ray and the inevitable influx of hi-def movies, including Universal's first few BDs.

Heroes sucked. The beginning of the series was awesome but the end to the first volume was total crap. There are so many things that didn't make sense.

I agree, I just saw the final episode and didn't get an urge to watch season 2...lots of things that make no sense!

Did you watch the whole season from beginning to end? If you didn't, that might be why it didn't make sense. The only episode I haven't seen is the final one, but the rest of the episodes rocked. I haven't enjoyed a tv show this much in years.

I watched every single episode and right when the show picked up in February it got totally lame. They could have ended the show months ago but decided to drag it on as much as they could. I think the second half of the season was a total waste of money and only appealed to people that lack common sense and enjoy mediocrity.

That's subjective. The only episode I didn't really like was the one with Sylar's mother in it.

You don't think they could have ended the show about 2 months ago? We learned NOTHING in these last few episodes. Who the hell cares about what happens in the future if it ISN'T going to happen? People not knowing what happens lets them formulate their own opinion and use their immagination. I felt like NBC got more satisfaction out of making fun of their audience with a lame series than they did when they saw their profit margin.

Come on. From that point of view Heroes aren't real and none of it happened anyway. As an episode it was good. Besides it was Hiro who traveled there, not like an abstract episode out of nowhere.

I don't give a slice about Universal, they can stick their products up their butts.

Despite hero's release i'm 100% blu-ray. In life there are choices and being dual might be the "quick and easy path" but that just delays the inevitible
SINGLE hd format-blu ray.
