Does anyone else regularly get Vudu Wish List Update e-mails? They notify you of titles in your wish list that become available to rent, available to own, and most recently "Last Call." Last Call lists up to five (if applicable) titles that will be removed from the Vudu store in 7 days.
According to my e-mail, these titles will be removed from Vudu in 7 days as of June 26th. Updated status 7/10: Doogal (Weinstein Company) (Non UV) - Still available 1408 (Weinstein Company) (Non UV) - Still available Awake (Weinstein Company) (Non UV) - Still available The Woman in Black (CBS Films) (UV) - Removed A.C.O.D. (Paramount Pictures) (UV) - Still available If anyone else received an e-mail like this, if you could list any "Last Call" titles from your e-mail, I would really appreciate it. It's the first time I've noticed this, and it almost makes me wish Vudu had a section on their site that listed titles leaving the store soon. Last edited by Blu-News; 07-10-2014 at 02:51 PM. |

In the past I've gotten these Last Call notices, and some of the movies were removed and then returned about a week later. I seem to recall that the Weinstein movies were removed for a couple days about a year ago. Same thing happened to a bunch of Vivendi movies about 6 months ago.
On the other hand, there are some movies that were removed and never came back. I'm glad I grabbed Urban Legends when I got one of these emails last year. That one never returned. |

I received an update this morning about a few titles. The email from Vudu stated that these are not going to be available for purchase anymore in 7 days:
Hours http://www.vudu.com/movies/#!content/490663/Hours In A World http://www.vudu.com/movies/#!content/489287/In-a-World If you were planning on picking either of these up, you'll want to do so within the next week. |

I've seen non-UV movies go out of window, but I think this is the first time I've actually seen a notice that included UV titles. |

Some exciting titles, for me at least, will be available to own in HDX for the first time on 11/18:
Six Days, Seven Nights ![]() Shopgirl ![]() Keeping the Faith ![]() Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (the blu would actually be less expensive, but I also buy Vudu titles I like but not enough to own) House of Sand and Fog is relatively new but pricey at $17.99. How to Make An American Quilt (love Winona) became available on the 11th. I wish they'd make a deal with MGM as they have a lot of titles available in HDX, but only to rent.
