I saw someone post one of these about V for Vendetta, and imo and alot of peoples opinion, Batman Begins is better. The best part about how close Batman Begins on BD is, is that The Dark Knight is just 10 days after that. Dont know about all of you, but I am friggin excited

People have been bashing me for complaining about the PQ on BB since the HD DVD came out. Welcome to the club (the bashee club, that is).

Those HD DVD screenshots are a little disappointing and more concerning is it seem to contain compression artifacting. Too bad this encode is being ported over to Blu-ray. However, a great movie and will pick it up.

As much as I'd like to own this on blu, I might hold off if there's any chance of a Batman boxset being done after the release of the Dark Knight.

All Warner titles so far have been region free, so I doubt that will change with Batman Begins.

However, I suspect Dark City will be region coded - all New Line releases so far have been. There's some work-around with the PS3, but there's no guarantee that will work on all discs, and the firmware could always be changed to stop that exploit since the discs aren't actually region free.

ok, sounds good for Batman - but not so good for Dark City... I've heard about that loophole, but not worth importing for imo... and nobody with an Australian PS3 has comfirmed it yet anyway...

damn, I wish all catalog titles could be region free...
