Wow. I'll give Fincher and Fox props. They made a trailer that literally gives away nothing past the first third of the book(aside from a few hints). If you don't know what happens after that and no critic or moviegoer spoils it for you beforehand, you'll be going into the theater almost blind.

Fincher did a big whopping 8 minute trailer for TGWTDT, so I wouldn't put it past them to wring out another chunk of promotional material in the final stretch towards the film's release.

Tanner Bolt is not that big of a role. I still don't know why they cast Tyler Perry considering he looks nothing like Bolt as he's described in the book, but maybe he blew them away in a screentest.
