You know what, they STILL haven't even paid James Purefoy properly for the first one but yet they can afford to make a sequel to what was a lacklustre sword and scandals gore fest?

They should be paying James Purefoy instead of hiring vanilla actors to step in. Needless to say, I will NOT be watching this one.

The movie is, by no means, a failure but a weaker variation of the predecessor. I would rate it 5,5/10.

I liked the first one, especially Paul Giamatti, but the trailer for the sequel looks awful. The dialogue is terrible and the cast try so hard to give it the gravitas of Shakespeare that the result looks very funny.
