I'd wait for a local Singapore release, but judging from past Disney 3D BD here (including Frozen 3D), it contains the 3D BD only, no 2D disc and it sells for approximately US$39. What a ripoff. This looks pretty damn good.

Really liked Need For Speed and in 3D, so have to figure out what to do since Disney's distribution decided to drop the 3D blu ray in the US from the look of it.

Kimchi Has it listed as Region A. They usually are because they fall under our region Which is why I like to order from them.

EDIT: YesAsia has the Korean listed as region A and the Taiwan as region free.

Found out that Kimchidvd.com lists its price before shipping.
I ended up placing an order at YesAsia.com

It's slightly more expensive, at US$49.90, but I get free shipping to Singapore. Besides, I've already patronized them before, so I trust their shipping. Looking forward to it.

Why not wait and see what the release for the U.S. will be? Right now, we don't know. No version listed as upcoming on either Amazon or Best Buy. I', gonna hold off until I hear what will be coming out domestic.

The problem is, i don't wanna wait til later for 3D version, plus i'm only getting once and i don't wanna double dip on this movie, i'm not taking my chances of getting the movie in 2D only and i want to have the 3D and 2D discs physically.

Just learned that Disney and Amazon are in some kind of a dispute or agreement not to accept any kind of pre-orders for their Blu-rays. It doesn't affect just Need for Speed, but it affects all the Disney titles that I want this upcoming months.

I am having a ton of trouble Pre-ordering Captain America - The Winter Soldier and Agents of SHIELD Blu-ray.

So unfortunately, the listing is gone from Amazon not because we can expect a 3D BD surprise, but it's probably not going to happen for a while in the US.

Best Buy lists that the item is no longer available, as well as Amazon. I can't find it anywhere for US pre-order. And really from the image for the cover art and packaging, it looks like Buena Vista is treating the release with poor quality of advertising and everything. You'd think that since its release date is less than a month away you would start seeing some promos and ads? Maybe Dreamworks is pissed with the quality and the lack of 3D. I see this is where Disney gets its act back together and wises the hell up. Imagine if Tron: Legacy didn't get a 3D release... so many people would not buy it. Heck I didn't buy Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol because of the lack of IMAX sequences being in 16:9, and I can't watch Star Trek Into Darkness as much because they did the same thing with IMAX sequences. Like Paramount, Buena Vista is making a stupid move, but unlike Paramount it's for a pivotal version. IMAX isn't necessary, 3D is pretty close to necessary though.

I think it's worth noting this is just the 3D BD alone. No 2D disc. This is a common in Asia.

The packaging has been fine for the handful of times I've ordered from them. The movie is usually sent in a bubble mailer/small box and marked as registered mail so you'll have to sign for the package when it arrives.

That is a good price considering the US blu ray 3D release is MIA (missing in action), thank you.

For those who want some great car chases in great 3D, Need for Speed is a good addition. I kept thinking during the movie, "Wow, the 3D looks really good. High medium to even strong 3D at times." Exceeded my expectations since the 3D was confirmed more or less (from what I saw) with only about 2 months before the film was released.
