Default Sleepaway camp UK release?

Hi, as title asks, does anyone know who owns the rights for the UK and what do people from the UK think of the chances for a release this year. Who is the equivalent of scream factory in the UK?

Anchor released the first three Sleepaway Camp films on DVD back in 2004 here in the UK, that was 10 years ago now so whether they still hold the rights is questionable.

I believe this is an MGM title in the US so maybe they have it now. I honestly believe the chances of Sleepaway Camp being released in the UK this year is zero. If it is an MGM title here in the UK a company like 101 Films or Arrow who have both dealt with MGM before may bother to release it at some point but I wouldn't hold my breathe if I were you waiting for it to happen.

There is is no direct equivalent of Scream here in the Uk in my opinion (but other's may differ), Arrow is probably the closest but they release an incredibly broad range of titles (they no way concentrate on horror like Scream) and, again in my opinion, have slowed down their horror releases recently.

There are two companies here in Australia (Umbrella Entertainment and Cinema Cult) who could quite possibly release the film given their catalogue.

Was thinking that would be the case. Thanks for your reply.

Any news here? Part 2 and 3 got a nice release. Part 1 is an absolute classic and a UK release is long overdue imo. A steelbook with the original poster art would be awesome.
