Sorry if anything is out of line here guys, I very rarely start threads over here but I happen to come across Kenneth Brown's review of Hidden Kingdoms the other day and after reading it I was sold so I found a copy on eBay for a good price and I get to watch it for the first time in a few days, I am very much looking forward to it!

The PQ of this is very good because unlike with a lot of their productions in the past they used high quality cameras. However, this is the most fake BBC Natural History Unit documentary I've seen. It's one thing to stage scenes by putting animals in artificial environments ... but CGI?! That's going too far imo and I hope it doesn't become commonplace. This is more of a movie than it is a documentary.
