This needs an American Blu-ray release badly and i have the movie on DVD-R and laserdisc.

How about Criterion to do a SE BD since they are gonna do some animation with watership Down and all that including they did Fantastic Mr. Fox?

Yes, this is in my most wanted animation films too and I would love Criterion to do it!
But, I'd prefer to have the film in the original French language with the original Gabriel Yared score (the score was substituted in some places for the American version, or discarded completely)

Most agree and uncut too as this movie would look and sound better than any of those bootleg DVDs fans held on to.

I always loved this movie for years since i was a kid when i rented it and became one of my favorite animated movies. I'm sure this movie was one of Avatar's inspirations since you can tell how similar the two movies are.

I saw it first on TV in my childhood. It was the weirdest thing I had ever seen.
After than, i completely forgot about it and some years ago was searching for it. I only knew the Greek title (........[something], land of happiness).
And then the name of the land dawned on me, and found it..
