United Kingdom Pulp Fiction 20th Anniversary Box Set - December 1, 2014

Sorry to start a new thread, but I saw that the most recently posted PF thread was 2 years ago.
Has anyone heard anything about this:

https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Pulp-...lu-ray/109554/

I contend, one can never have too many releases of Pulp Fiction in their collection!

Curious about this. Love Pulp Fiction. But the previous PF releases were Region Locked, so I expect the same here. Probably the old disc with some added swag

I hope not. Although I did see this site has only 1 disc listed...bummer if true.
Well I guess that's why I've grown fond of swag: at least you do get it, with these types of releases.

The last release was supervised by Tarantino and had a whole heap of extras (i'm pretty sure everything from the previous DVD editions plus new stuff). I doubt there will be anything new that's worthwhile on the disc if anything is altered there, most likely it'll be a fancy presentation box with some memorabilia tossed in.

I'll stick with my play.com SB. Best artwork and the disc and extras are 5* one of the best blus IMO.

I'm in two minds about this set. I don't own anything like this, so it would be cool to, and the dollar bills and the bag and all that lot are great. But I already have the film on Blu-Ray, and it's just a question of how much I care about the extras. I mean, I cared a lot more about the extras in the From Dusk Till Dawn set (Which I still don't) than I did cause they were a lot cooler. I don't know, what do you guys think?

A sick bag and some Monopoly money? Nah...go for the Tarantino XX set and sell whatever Tarantino discs you already have on eBay! That's what I did, and it more than covered the price of the set in the end. It's a brilliant set, and has 2 exclusive extras discs plus True Romance thrown in (despite being directed by Tony Scott). Might be worth mentioning it's DVD-sized though, but the design of the packaging makes it completely worth it.

You may be able to get it for as little as £30-40 if you look around, using codes and whatnot or trying eBay/Amazon Marketplace. I got mine for £21 which was daylight robbery and I was really surprised the Marketplace seller actually fulfilled my order and didn't just cancel it! Saying that, it does have a light scratch across the spine (but it's not too noticable).

Default No, Thanks

I'm a sucker for fancy box sets but this is pointless. Amaray case, probably the same recycled transfer, a bunch of useless knick-knacks. No, thanks. Someone needs to reissue the French steelbook. Watch my interest skyrocket

Will it have an updated transfer?

I bought the UK Blu-ray over the Australian release because it was 1080p with a better transfer.

i bought this two days ago and i'm very pleased with it, i don't have any other copies of the movie so it was a must buy, now HMV do have the very same blu ray on its own for £8.99 and i did pay 27.99 for this, which means i paid £19 for the extras, i did feel a little pain having to pay that much extra, once opened the box in a perfect world i would have liked to have paid £20.
pluses
1. the money is well done
2. quality of jack rabbits slims menu looks exactly the same as in the movie
3. Z key ring is very cool
4. big gahuna burger bag looks great
Negatives
1. art cards are ok but nothing special (would have liked some info on the back)
2. standard blu ray box.
overall im happy as it sits next to from dusk till dawn titty twister edition amd they are pretty much the exact same size,
also compered to the US edition i think we got the better version

I have a bit of a dilemma here regarding this box set and I am really hoping someone can help me out. This is my first time posting on here.

UPDATE: I was able to buy the banknotes I wanted. Thanks to everyone who wanted to help.

I want a steelbook of PF. Missed out on the play.com one.

Get to it Zavvi. You're just releasing any old tosh these days - or good films with terrible art: I'm looking at you Addams Family!

Just an idea, but if you paid via PayPal you could look up the transaction and email them that way?

Does anyone actually own this UK box set? If so, would you do me a HUGE favor and take a photo of the side of the box that has the barcode? I tried looking online/ebay and such but I can not find a good photo of this part of the box.

Thanks.
