Nice! This was already coming out in Germany later this year. Nice to see a US release. I hope there will be some nice extras (and no compression issues is always nice to dream about).

Gotta love the opening titles that are clearly ripped off from Superman: The Movie. The acting is kinda cheesy but there are some cool sets and effects in this movie.

I love this movie, I'm glad they are releasing it. I had the MGM Midnite release but since lost it.

Nice! This will be a definite buy. Now if only we could get the original 1953 on blu-ray, too. The DVD transfer is a bit of a disappointment, even considering the issues surrounding the available source materials. Plus, it's out of print and very expensive.

Fun remake of the 1953 sci-fi classic and i always enjoyed this since i saw it in theaters as a kid 2 times and been one of my guilty pleasures.

This movie scared the crap out of me as a kid, with the frog eating teacher and the whole "it's not over/is it a dream or real" ending. Keep your pennies in a booby trapped room kids.

That scene with the frog always reminded me of the scene in "V The Miniseries" where the alien was eating the mice and other rodents.

I just ordered a DVD combo with this movie in in from Amazon, 2 days ago. Or yesterday, can't remember. Small world, and this is pretty cool news.
