Pretty good teaser; it doesn't reveal the plot yet it is obvious that all the violence is certainly there.

I'll see it but I'm not convinced yet that this will be better than the Thomas Jane version of the Punisher. It does look like it will be good though.

I've read it will be a hard, violent R. But I think that perceptions of what that is differs from person to person.

Know what you mean, after sitting through the new Rambo flick a few times this past week, I've re-defiined what a hard R is as well. Looks like Julie Benz is in this movie also, interesting.

The spinning chandelier bit reminds me of The Boondock Saints mob scene.

Looks.... ok. The violence looks good, The movie looks like it will be darker but I don't like the guy as the Punisher.

The trailer's about what I expected. This one will live or die by the story more than anything. I don't think this is going to break any new ground for action.

Punisher has been my #1 character since I was eight years old. I LOVED the Thomas Jane version, and was quite worried about War Zone when I heard everything about it. However, I like the next guys look, even if it takes some adjustment, and the fact that it's getting a "hard R" rating gives me even more hope.

imo i think this will fail and fail miserably, thomas jane was perfect as the punisher, im all for new actors but this guy looks like a zombie.

meh, it looks alright but I'm going to wait for the full trailer before i start to form an opinion.....i can't believe people actually like the last one, i'm mean it wasnt terrible but it was far from what the Punisher should have been.

It is hard to compare any film to Rambo. Rambo redefines ass-kick-ness. I was honestly in shock after it. It was fan-tas-tic. I am still realing from the 50 caliber destruction in that film. I'm used to seeing violent war films, but my god the amount of 50 caliber carnage was unprecedented in war films.

Thomas Jane did an excellent job as Punisher. He owned the role. The whole stage setting for the film (all the touchy feely family stuff early on) kind of let it down for me, and I wish to goodness he had the chance to play the Punisher without all the background baggage they have to add to the "first" in a franchise.

Watch the series ROME from HBO. Ray Stevenson is great in it and his character is ver badass. He will be perfect for the punisher.

ugh. this looks like cheesy cliched BS. the first movie is a guilty pleasure, but is admittedly far from great. going by this teaser though, it looks like an academy award winner in comparison to war *zone*.

I liked the original version with Dolph Lundgren (even though it wasn't real similar to the comic book, which I am a fan of). To me, it seemed more dark than the Thomas Jane version. The Thomas Jane version started out alright, but then got to Hollywoody for my taste.

I'm kind of intrigued by War Zone. To me it seems that the punisher movie should be dark and have good actors that are not well known. It just doesn't feel right when a bunch of big name actors appear in a Punisher flick.

War Journal? I'm familiar with the comic, but they've never made a film with the War Journal title.
