Movie Mates

I just joined last week and today I've been trying to use movie mates but I keep getting the "too few ratings" error. I tried to search the forum for an answer to only find that another poster had this problem but was unable to find a solution.

I've rated about 300 movies, and the other poster with the issue rated at least 600. So why is the movie mates feature telling us we have rated "too few movies"?

Any help would be appreciated.

The movie mates is computation heavy, so it's not calculated in real-time. Wait a few days and they should show up

I have a different question about the movie mates tool. My movie mates are based on me rating about 100 films. After that I rated 700 more with no change. I then cancelled all my ratings about a year ago, still my movie mates are exactly the same.

Is there a reset option or is it a one time only calculation?

I'd be very happy about any help.
