Heat generated from Samsung BD-P1500. - Blu-ray Forum

I just bought the BD-P1500 and noticed after playing a movie the bottom of this thing is extremely warm, almost hot. Is this normal? It plays great and I haven't had any issues playing any Blu-Ray's with it yet.

The design of the 1500's main board has the Broadcom decoder/processor chip on the bottom side using the player chassis as a heatsink. Yes, the bottom of the player will get quite warm.
